VEGGIE'S LIVE LONGER

Going vegetarian for at least 17 years extends a person’s life expectancy by 3.6 years, a study has shown. Physicians from the Mayo Clinic based in Arizona analysed six studies that showed the effects of meat and vegetarian diets. Their investigation of more than 1.5 million people found death from all causes was higher for those who regularly eat meat, with red and processed meat products being the worst offenders.
