Knitting shows signs of boosting your memory.

Research has emerged from the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota to suggest that people who enjoy hobbies such as painting, quilting, knitting or crocheting have a lower risk of developing dementia. The study looked at 256 people with an average age of 87, who were free of memory problems at the start.
