It is now safe to eat runny eggs!

Almost 30 years after the salmonella crisis, it has been reported by The Food Standards Agency (FSA) that pregnant women, infants and the elderly can now safely eat runny eggs.

New scientific evidence shows that those vulnerable to infection could now safely eat raw or lightly cooked eggs produced under the British Lion Code of Practice.

More than 90% of UK eggs are produced under this scheme.
