COULD RED WINE HELP TO PREVENT CANCER?
Scientists are excited about a compound found in the skin of red grapes called resveratrol. Researchers at the University of Leicester are looking at whether resveratrol can be developed into a cancer fighting drug. It has also been found that flavanols released from the grape pips during wine making have cancer fighting properties.
